13th October 2012: European Pan European Draw
The draw has been done by the European GAA board. Vienna Gaels men will compete against Cophenhagen and Warsaw while the ladies shall take on Holland and Stockholm in the group stages. Full draw details can be seen here .

13th October 2012: European Pan European Tournament : Schwechat
The Vienna Gaels shall proudly be hosting their first ever Pan European Gaelic football tournament in Vienna. The tournament takes place in the Rudolf Tonn Stadion in Schwechat and it will be the first time ever that a Gaelic Pan European tournament will take place in Austria. 15th March 2010: Hoodies!
We're proud to unveil the official Vienna Gaels Hoodies. These beauties are produced by top-notch Irish sportswear manufacturer O'Neills and are ready to be ordered now. According to our secretary "There are only men's sizes, but according to O'Neills, a Small Men's size equates approximately a ladies size 12". Take a look at the size chart (PDF, 49KB) and see if that helps.

The prices are as follows: EUR 35 for members (those that paid their dues for this year) and EUR 40 for everybody else. Real enthusiasts can get three for EUR 100. We are accepting orders until the end of the month. Act quickly!

7th October 2009: After an exciting and very tight match, the Vienna Gaels unfortunately lost against the Prague Hibernians in Prague on October 3rd. The Gaels however very much enjoyed the subsequent party organised by the Hibernians and thank them very much for their warm welcome! We look forward to welcoming you to our tournament in the Spring!

1st October 2009: Training will continue in Atzgersdorf until the end of October - weather permitting.

14th July 2009: The pitch has now closed for the summer. Training will take place on the Donauinsel at the Neue Donau Station (U6) until August 19th.

10th February 2009: Tournament fixtures have been confirmed. The Vienna tournament will take place on April 25th in Atzgersdorf, the Budapest tournament will take place on May 9th.

5th February 2009: Membership for 2009 (�30/�15) must be paid by bank transfer to the Club. Email viennagaelsclub[at]gmail[dot]com if you need the account details.

5th February 2009: Outdoor training in Atzgersdorf will begin on March 18th at 8pm! See you all there!

4th February 2009: Welcome to our new committee members Ciara Madden and John Baxter, and thankyou to our leaving committee member Niamh Scally for her work and committment!

9th November 2008: Four brave Gaels faced the gales and the cold on a Sunday morning to run in the Vienna Er&Sie Lauf and, of course, performed fantastically. Congratulations to Niamh, Roman, Brendan (aka Tim) and Claire!

20th August 2008: The summer break is now over! Get back to training, every Wednesday night at 8pm in Atzgersdorf.

9th July 2008: The Vienna Gaels have elected two new commitee members: Niamh Scally is to replace Catriona Ryan as PRO, and Claire Jessel is to replace Fiona O'Carroll as Secretary. Thankyou Triona and Fiona for all your great work over the years!

4th July 2008: The club Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 9th July in Atzgersdorf, directly after training. We encourage you all to come along, as two of our committee members are leaving and need to be replaced.

3rd July 2008: If anyone wants the Vienna Gaels logo embroidered onto caps, shirts, shorts, socks, bags, or whatever else, you can do so by contacting the following shop. They have the logo already and will charge a small fee for the embroidery service.

2nd July 2008: A big thankyou to everyone for taking part in the quiz and the raffle and for making such generous contributions. We can now look forward to a great trip to Munich, for which the club will contribute to the tournament registration fee of members and we can continue training at the Atzgersdorf pitch after the summer break. The club will also invest in further activities and equipment.

1st June 2008: The Vienna Gaels ladies team came 4th out of 5 in the SUSA soccer tournament @ Alte Donau.
