History of Our Club

The Vienna Gaels GAA Club was founded in 2004 by members of the Irish Community in Vienna to promote Gaelic Games and Irish Culture in Vienna, Austria.

In June 2004, the Vienna Gaels hosted their first European Gaelic Football tournament which was held at the Hohe Warte.

Playing Gaelic Games in Vienna is a great way of getting to know people in the Irish Community!

Non Irish members and players are also welcome! The Membership fee is €40 per year (€20 for students).
